About the Visit

On May 22, the March East team in Wichita, Kansas welcomed members of the NFIP Direct leadership team for an engaging and collaborative visit focused on growth, operational excellence, and team development.

Representing leadership were Timothy “TJ” Murphy, Drew Chewning, Saul Hernandez, and other team members from across the organization, who spent time with the Wichita team discussing key operational priorities and opportunities for continuous improvement. The visit also reinforced the strong connection between the Wichita office and the Overland Park, Kansas location, which works closely alongside the March East team.

Throughout the visit, conversations centered around training, coaching, and operational strategies designed to continue delivering exceptional service, quality, and speed to customers. Team members shared ideas, exchanged feedback, and collaborated on ways to strengthen processes and enhance customer experience.

Beyond the operational discussions, the visit highlighted the company's commitment to investing in frontline teams and maintaining a culture of collaboration and engagement. Leadership members had the opportunity to connect directly with employees, hear insights from the team, and celebrate the progress being made across the organization.

To wrap up the visit, the group gathered for dinner at Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews, enjoying some good old Kansas-style BBQ and quality time together outside the office. Special thanks to Joe Vondracek, who treated the team to dinner and helped make the evening even more memorable.

The visit reflected the organization's ongoing focus on growth, teamwork, and continuous improvement as teams across locations work together to support customers and drive success.
